Recently, our very good friends welcomed a baby boy to their family, and this is the blanket I made for him. It's been a bit too warm here for blankets lately but hopefully he'll enjoy snuggling up with this when the fall temperatures finally grace us with their presence.
I stitched this project together in a series of five to fifteen minute intervals between bouts of chasing Baby Dino around the house and trying to convince him that, despite his new found love of walking, naps are still important. Just like the Dino Blankie and Fawn Blankie I posted about earlier this year I used a yard of this dog pattern printed on Spoonflower's performance knit, a yard of a simple patterned flannel, and a package of Wright's Satin binding.
Hopefully, this new little guy will like dogs as much as his pal, Baby Dino, does. And hopefully his parents have at least nine months before they have to start chasing him around the house.
And here's the real corgi, I mean, photographer's assistant. All snuggled up in her bed she used as a puppy that we keep in the nursery.
